Books that are COMING SOON!

I am so excited about some books that are on the horizon and due out in the coming months! I've had the pleasure of "meeting" several of the authors and like them and enjoy their blogs so much that I'm chomping at the bit to read their debut books!

Egg on My Face, Star on the Tree

My very first Vlog attempt taught me that what goes on in my head isn't always what actually comes out on the screen. Go figure. But it's a trade-off. I learned a few things about lighting and video editing from mistakes I made, but I got my tree decorated!

Christmas is certainly much more than a decorated house or tree. Even more than the memories of yearly traditions. And I know that. But I also love the excuse to indulge in our yearly ladder climbs and light untangling and tree fluffing. If nothing else, my kids are going to remember joy during the Christmas season, on all levels.
Can you think of some unlikely things that ended up sparking good memories?

Oh and before I forget, you can visit Katie Ganshert, Keli Gwyn, and Lynne Gentry at their respective websites. They've got some great vlogs!

Top Ten: To Be or Not To Be ...

beggar... Grateful.

I heard a story about an experiment that was conducted in New York. A guy dressed in ragged clothes carried a cup and a sign that said I'm Blind. He stood at a busy area on a sidewalk and collected $4 during his day-long posing. The next day, he repeated the procedure, only his sign

Winner!

I have a winner for my drawing of Elizabeth Goddard's newest release, "Freezing Point." Katie Ganshert won my copy, but you can get one of your own here! Check my review for this great book here!

Next Monday, I'll be posting my new reading list and hope to learn about the books on it. Which ones did you like? Which ones intrigue you? I'll base my reading schedule on your feedback, so make sure you stop by!

Peace

I've been inhaling blogs on the craft of writing lately. It's truly generous of these experts to share their secrets with aspiring authors and I'm grateful to Jody Hedlund, Katie Ganshert, Elizabeth Spann Craig, Rachel Hauck, Susan May Warren and others for their offerings!

One of the things I've learned in the realm of suspense is the balance between tension and peace. A good

Favorite Blog Postings

I had such a good time wading along the blog shore this week. So many different topics and so much amazing information.  Now, I would have had ten favorites except I highlighted two of them in an article earlier this week inspired by Jody Hedlund and Elizabeth Craig Spann entitled Literary Contortions.

I'm so indebted to these talented folks for their wisdom, insight, and the inspiration they are generous enough to share.  Please hit the highlighted words for links to the specific articles. When you visit, make sure you follow or comment to support the authors and share the love! :)

Favorite Blog Articles

Because of my travels last week, I was unable to get internet access most of the time - boy did I go through withdrawal! For that reason, on eight articles made my favorite list for the week. There are a few that hit me just right, but all of them are so good, I really hate to rank them. By all means, visit these links. They will inspire you. And don't forget to leave some love for the authors! Your comments and "follows" tells us we're not speaking to the bare walls.

Have a blessed week! <><
