I had such a good time wading along the blog shore this week. So many different topics and so much amazing information.  Now, I would have had ten favorites except I highlighted two of them in an article earlier this week inspired by Jody Hedlund and Elizabeth Craig Spann entitled Literary Contortions.

Favorite Blog Articles

Because of my travels last week, I was unable to get internet access most of the time - boy did I go through withdrawal! For that reason, on eight articles made my favorite list for the week. There are a few that hit me just right, but all of them are so good, I really hate to rank them. By all means, visit these links. They will inspire you. Favorite Articles of the Week

 Wow, today's post was so simple. My travels through the web showed me some amazing articles. I had 10 in no time. In fact, I had more than I needed. My only problem came when I had to reduce my list and then arrange them according to their impact factor.  Just a note that the list below doesn't reflect the popularity of the blog or the writing ability of the author. It is merely ranked by how they hit me when I first read them. All of the blogs are outstanding and I thank the authors for sharing their inspiration!

Secrets are Meant to be Shared . . .

I read non-fiction from time to time; Bible Studies, devotions, teacher editions and writing manuals.  Seldom do I actually read any of these books from cover to cover.  I leave that enjoyment to my accountant hubby who only discovered an enjoyment of fiction when the kids were young and he read the Little House books aloud to them.  Until then, his leisure reading included computer manuals and all of Chuck Swindoll's and Max Lucado's books.

Anyway, I broke with tradition last weekend when I came across the new nook book from Mary DeMuth, 11 Secrets of Getting Published.  Not only was the book informative, but it was terribly challenging.  Her chapters addressed  some of the most overwhelming areas to a novice writer, such as crafting the story, understanding what goes into publishing and marketing, and navigating writers' conferences.
